Ingleside at King Farm goes GREEN!

Ingleside at King Farm is focusing its efforts to achieve the most prestigious accreditation for new construction in America: LEED Certification. Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED).

We are offsetting our electricity consumption through wind power, using low volatile organic compounds (VOC) paints, carpets, and finishes, implementing additional testing and continuous verification of the building’s equipment and energy efficiency, maximizing green open space, and restoring native vegetation to promote “biodiversity” (translation: attracting beautiful new flora and fauna that may have been absent for decades!)  These are just a few of the initiatives that will promote environmental sustainability in our community, while increasing the level of comfort and quality of life for our residents and future generations.
